We are a jazz/rock/fusion quintet
that plays original music and unique covers of jazz and rock standards.
About the band
Our repertoire of music includes original tunes and our "Sherpalized" interpretations of popular jazz and rock standards. The originals are a blend of jazz, rock and latin influences with emphasis on melody and groove.
To date, the Urban Sherpas have released 3 CDs. All of these CDs are available for purchase at our shows.
In addition to gigging in the greater Sacramento region and Northern California, we are actively working on the band's 4th CD, and hope to have the project completed in 2019.
